InfoCentre PV

The CCHT InfoCentre is currently equipped with two 1.4 kW solar arrays from Photowatt International S.A . One is mounted on the upper section of the west half of the building's south roof; the other is installed at a steeper angle on the canopies over the two center-section windows on the main and second floor. These arrays supplement the electrical supply to the InfoCentre, and occasionally feed back to the grid when electrical demand is low. The daily solar radiation and PV power supply are monitored, with the intention of comparing the year-round operation of both array installations.
