?kocomfort™ System
?KOCOMFORT™ is a family of products produced by various manufacturers, designed to integrate space heating, hot water and continuous ventilation into one space-saving, energy efficient unit. The ?KOCOMFORT™ consortium was established by Natural Resources Canada with seed funding from the Climate Change Action Fund.
The CCHT twin-house testing facility was used to advance ?KOCOMFORT™ systems by providing participating manufacturers the opportunity to install their product in a fully monitored and controlled house - a stepping stone between the lab and the marketplace. The facility provided installation troubleshooting and facilitated product development.
Participating Manufacturers included: Ecologix, Kerr, Nu-Air, Torino, Vebteck and Fleetline.
